Why Join?

Taunton Deane Bowling Club is a superb purpose built Centre of Excellence for bowling situated just a few minutes off Junction 25 of the M5.

We have six indoor rinks laid to international standards. We also have an eight rink outdoor bowling green, also to international standards.

We offer a warm welcome to bowlers of all ages experience and ability. A team of qualified, friendly coaches are on hand to provide progressive coaching to newcomers and improvers alike.

Members get access to…

  • Rinks

    We operate a rink booking system for the 6 rinks indoors and the 8 outside rinks. No minimum notice is required for bookings.

    Rinks can be booked for a minimum of 1 hour or for the normal 2 hour session.

  • Matches

    Matches are played at all levels with internal leagues,county leagues, club competitions, tournaments and county and national competitions both indoor and outdoor.

  • Social

    The Fund Raising committee run a number of events throughout the year. Find below a list of upcoming social events.

  • Great Club House

    Taunton Deane Bowling Club sports a well-stocked shop where we can supply all your bowling needs in one place, all at competitive prices including those manufactured by Thomas Taylor, Drakes Pride and Henselite.

    Restaurant & Bar

    Our comfortable and well appointed Rinks Restaurant and Touchers Bar will seat up to 200 people and can provide a wide range of snacks and meals.

    The shop and reception are open Monday to Saturday 09:00 – 13.00.

  • Coaching & Training

    A Welcome Coaching Offer

    Taunton Deane Bowling Club offer coaching for all beginners, improvers and visually impaired and those with mobility needs.

    During the Summer of 2019 we are offering free coaching of 4 sessions (this includes the taster session) to any new member and if they join during the session and pay the annual membership fee it will last until September 2020.

    Shoes and bowls supplied on loan for up to 2 months. All coaches are fully qualified plus we have free parking so why not book your coaching session today.
