Imogen Cracknell won The Ladies Junior Singles Title today at Chew Stoke bowling club.
She won a tight game against Maddie King from Congesbury by 21 shots to 19.
Earlier in the day she lost the Senior Ladies Final to Stef Branfield from Clevedon.
The Senior men’s rink of Andy Williams, Mark Reeve, Colin Day and Tony Foxwell also lost their final 10 - 15 to a rink from Bath.

Lost tonight at Ashcombe Park by narrowest of margins!
Match finished 81 - 81!
Ashcombe won extra end by a measure of 3mm!!
Good luck to them in the semi final!

Narrow defeat at Taunton in Fear Plate last night.

Recovered well to win Southey Trophy quarter final this morning against Bridgwater.
Won 3 disciplines to 1.

Another tight game today against Ashcombe Park.
The Deane won the Singles and Fours.
Ashcombe Park the Pairs, with the Triples drawn!
Result in doubt until final end of the fours.
Taunton Deane 2+half. Ashcombe Park 1+half.

Bowls England Champion of Champions.
Good win for Lynn Williams at Ilminster this pm.
In a high quality game she overcame Debbie Hawker by 21-11.

Southey Trophy.
Good win this morning again Taunton.
Taunton won the singles and fours with the Deane winning the Pairs and Triples.
The match was decided on shots with our Ladies winning 66-55.

Ladies Somerset County League.
A good start in our first match at Yeovil.
Won the match by one shot!
Thanks to Matt Hamilton for setting up the league.
Hope it grows from these beginnings!

National Championships. Mixed Results.
Disappointing loss to Wellington in the Men’s Top Club.
Lost both singles and pairs but won the triples and fours to lose 3-2.

Ladies Champion of Champions.
Good win for Lynn Williams over Lesley McLaren of Severalls Jubilee.
Despite leaving her woods on her driveway, husband to blame, she managed
a 21-17 win.
Thanks to Hiliary Leaman of Severalls for the loan of her woods!

21-18 v M.Clutterbuck from Castle Cary, followed by a 21-20 win over D. Bishop, City of Wells.

Men’s Senior Pairs. Last end win for Bryan Southward and Mike Beale over Club mates, Mark Reeve and Andy Williams. 14-13.
