INFORMATION ABOUT CLUB COMPETITIONS – WINTER 2024 - 2025

Details of the 2024 - 25 Winter Club Competitions will be displayed on the Club Notice Board and entry forms will be available in the reception area. All entries must be submitted by the stated closing date. A minimum of 8 entries for singles and 4 teams in pairs competitions must be received before a competition can proceed with the exception of Champion of Champions which has no minimum.

Competition Organisation

Whilst there are currently no formally appointed Competitions Committee members the Winter competitions will be organised by Karl Greenhoff, with assistance from Tony Foxwell. Further assistance may be requested from other club members as and when required, such as overseeing the draws being made.

The programme sheets displayed on the Competitions Notice Board will be updated regularly.

Any disputes must be submitted in writing to Karl Greenhoff, in the first instance; email office@tdbowls.com , marking the subject as FAO: Karl Greenhoff – Competitions. It will be discussed appropriately, and a decision then made; this decision will be final.

When all the finalists are known, a programme for the finals weekend will be displayed on the Competitions Notice Board. The rink allocation and marker for each final will be displayed on the day of the finals. No player shall play on the same rink twice during the finals, if possible.

Presentation of trophies will be arranged with the League Committee and the updating of the Club Honours Boards will be arranged. All club competition cups and shields remain the property of Taunton Deane Bowling Club.
