Indoor Bowling Rinks

The six rink indoor bowling centre is the only one in the area and allows the club to run a comprehensive programme of leagues, both during the day and evening. 

A full diary of friendly fixtures, County, Club and National competitions ensures there is always something going on at the ‘Deane’ in which members may participate or watch from a comfortable viewing area. 

Our online booking system enables members to reserve rinks using their phones,  iPads or computers without the necessity of having to ring or visit the club. 

Each rink has its own electronic scoreboard, these can be linked to a cumulative master scoreboard showing all rinks with skips names and home / away scores.

Outdoor Bowling Green

The 6 outdoor rinks are laid out to international standards. 
There is seating all around the green which has the added benefit of an undercover viewing area running its entire length. The floodlights allow the club to run a popular evening league, in addition to evening friendlies, during August and September.

Bar and Restaurant

The comfortable and well appointed Rinks Restaurant and Touchers Bar can seat up to 200 people and offers an excellent view of the indoor rink. 
It is an ideal place for socialising while watching the bowls.

The social committee runs a number of events during the year. These include quiz nights, and various forms of entertainment.

Reception and Club Shop

The Reception, is situated in the foyer and is staffed by club volunteers. At present it is open 9:00 - 12noon Monday to Friday
 

The Club Shop is situated alongside the Reception and is open similar hours.
On sale is wide range of bowls clothing and equipment, all at competitive prices.
The shop is open to both members and non members.

Changing rooms

We have spacious male and female changing rooms with separate toilet facilities for the use of members and visitors

There are also lockers availble for members who prefer not to carry their bowling equipment back and forth to the club.
