Taster session for new bowlers
Reception will contact the club coach who will then call the new contacts to make the appropriate arrangements for a free taster session lasting approximately 2 hrs.
Once the Taster Session is complete the new bowlers can judge if the Sport of Bowls is for them.
Following the taster session, if the new bowlers decide to have further training, then there follows 4x 2hr free sessions. At the end these, the new bowlers should have a good understanding of the game of Bowls and the workings of Taunton Deane Bowling club.
Once successful training is complete the new bowler will be offered the chance to join the club; all costs and fees will be explained.
Equipment
Bowls and shoes are available to borrow for a coaching session, subject to availability. Any equipment borrowed must be returned to the coach at the end of your session. There is no charge for this.
There is a shop on site that supplies the required clothing and shoes. Bowls can be ordered.

All applications for membership are subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
Once training has been completed and membership attained further training sessions can be arranged at the cost of a 2hr rink fee/person; liaise with the club coach.
Further training
